Child psychology is different from adult psychology. The Child Development Psychology Diploma - Level 3 aims to teach the essential aspects of child psychology and psychological theory. This course is suitable for parents, teachers, babysitters, child therapists or people who work with children.

There are four main types of parenting style. In the course, you will explore these in detail and understand how to choose the right parenting style for you. You will also learn about the importance of child counselling and the difference between homeschooling and public schooling, and how they affect child psychological development. This course also explores parental separation and how divorce affects child psychology and behaviour. 

Finally, you will familiarise with socialising and relationship-building skills. Cultural factors affecting the social and emotional development of children and young people will also be discussed.
