This Level 3 course begins with a focus on ‘Collapse & Unconsciousness’. This module will inform you of the signs to ensure swift action during emergencies. The next model will teach you how to perform effective CPR to help the pet. In the third module, you will explore detecting shock and stabilising the pet until professional help arrives. Accidents are part of life and quite often happen with pets, too. Therefore, the following module will introduce you to the method to manage & stop the pet’s bleeding in case of an accident.
Though seizures are dangerous in pets, the module on ‘Seizures’ will enable you to handle them easily. Choking is a common issue among pets. So, module nine will show you the tricks and techniques to rescue pets from choking. Pet animals can become victims of heat stroke and suffer from hypothermia. Therefore, module ten will educate you on how to identify the signs to prevent and manage heat stroke if one occurs before you even notice it. At the end of the Pet First Aid Level 3 course, you will explore modules on burns, poisoning, bites, etc., so that you can provide immediate care for such occurrences. The last three modules will familiarise you with the skills to assess various health issues, manage first aid for pets during emergencies, and create medical kits according to needs.
